I wanted to host my stuff on amazon cloudfront - but turns out some stuff isn't as easy as it looked.
So I successfully did host it on Amazon Cloudfront and added a ssl certificate. But I had some issues with documents in subfolders as the framework I am using creates for each post an index.html file to display it. Now Amazon Cloudfront doesn’t do that out of the box, you have to do some ‘hacking’. So I tried to get all the things I wanted working, but it was always a trade off with something else I wanted.
Hence I am back at a website hosted on static website on a s3 bucket.
